OUR MISSION

To Provide Simple, Efficient Solutions to the latrine problem in Third World Countries

We will establish a sustainable business that empowers local Guatemalans to generate income by creating a line of Modular components that improve a latrine’s functionality, user friendliness, and hygiene. We are guided by the principles of producing products at a low cost that are easily distributable and durable.

JANUARY
Won E/ME105 competition $1,000 to further business development in Guatemala.

FEBRUARY
Seat design is being displayed at the Art Center College of Design's Sustainability Conference (SUMMIT)

7th-9th Speaking at a Poster Session at the Engineers for a Sustainable World Conference as well as attending

MARCH
Ms. Bryce Butcher was selected as one of sixty-two persons for the International Development Design Summit held at MIT this summer of 2008

Mr. George Cadena interviewed with a writer for Caltech News to publish a story about Eco-Loo

MAY
First full-scale prototype produced for field testing in Guatemala

JUNE
Ms. Adrianne Stroup is graduating from Caltech's undergraduate program and is scheduled to work for eSolar, a company within Pasadena's Idealab, as a Systems Engineer
